WE GO WHERE THE STORY GOES.

(Predictable has never been our favourite destination)

Collectively, we've clocked over 100 years of experience and worked across Pakistan, Brazil, Bangladesh, Kenya, Ukraine, the United States, and dozens of other corners of the world. Along the way, our work has earned Emmys, Oscars, countless festival laurels, and the kind of hard-earned experience that doesn't fit neatly on a résumé.

We're producers who can edit. Editors who can produce. Directors who know how to carry cases. We are artists, writers, and creative problem solvers. Individually, we've earned our stripes. But when our powers combine, well, even Captain Planet would struggle to keep up.

So if you need a local crew with global experience, world-class credits, and an unhealthy commitment to getting the shot?

Well, we’ve already packed our bags.

Husain Qaizar

Editor, Producer, Director & Colorist

An Emmy-nominated filmmaker who spent years fixing other people's films in the edit before deciding to create his own problems by producing and directing. His films have made it to festivals such as Sundance, True/False and have been streamed on HBO and Netflix (much to the surprise of his impostor syndrome). He has an unhealthy obsession with horror films, and somehow still calls himself a cinephile despite never having seen a Kubrick film.

Haya Fatima Iqbal

Producer, Director, Cinematographer

Haya directs, produces, and shoots nonfiction films with Husain, and they've worked together on Oscar and Emmy-winning documentary projects. She is an air sign, and Husain is a water sign. Together we can be a thunderstorm or a breezy drizzle, depending on what you're looking for!

Shahrukh Waheed

Producer, Writer, Director

Also an Emmy-nominated filmmaker with a gift of the gab, an unhealthy obsession with languages, and the curiosity of a cat that has never once learned from its mistakes. He's spent years weaponising these tendencies into writing, producing, and directing films that have played at NYFF, TIFF, and the Red Sea Film Festival's documentary showcase. When he's not doing that, he's deep in a board game he's losing, or explaining again to Husain why he needs to watch some Kubrick films to qualify as a cultured cinephile.

Nadir Siddiqui

Cinematographer, Illustrator, Editor

Nadir is a man of many talents. He spent the first 20 years of his life doodling in his math notebooks instead of doing his homework. When he took up photography in business school, he realised he was much better at balancing compositions instead of ledgers. After 16 years of travelling the globe, working on films that won Emmys and Oscars, nothing makes him happier than watching producers sweat in the Pakistani sun while he hunts for “just one more shot” they’ll thank him for later.

Murtaza Ali

Cinematographer

Murtaza Ali is a Pakistani Director of Photography with over a decade of experience in documentaries, television, and commercial films. Drawn to stories in the grey areas of human nature, he dislikes the use of the word “cinematic,” works with a Sony FX3 as his weapon of choice, and is usually chasing better light, enough coverage for the editor, and a good cup of tea.

Anser Soomro

Sound Recordist & Sound Designer

Anser does sound. He's a talk less, listen more kinda guy. His wife disagrees. He's worked on features, shorts, TV and commercials, with films making their way to Sundance, TIFF, Berlinale, Busan, Tribeca and Red Sea.

Asad Aman

Editor

Asad Aman is a Pakistan-based video editor who has worked on documentaries, short films, and music videos. He watches far more films than he'd care to admit. When he's not relinking offline media, you'll probably find him wandering around with a camera, reading about cinema, or trying to convince someone that a three-hour film really isn't that long.
